PROBLEMS:

  1. My PS2 makes weird/loud noises while reading discs

  2. My PS2 doens't turn on

  3. My PS2 is on but there is not signal on the tv
  4. No sound.

  7. I have a modded PS2 and it worked, but it just stopped working all of a sudden.

    SOULUTIONS:

  1. ake sure you disk is not dirty, Keep them CLEAN, NEVER play copied CD's, DO NOT put your ps2 in the vertical postion because some rental games can ruin it that way.

  2. Make sure that you ps2 is plugged in, it COULD be your powere supply, if it is then call Sony and have them fix it if you still have warranty.

  3. Make Sure all your hookups are connected right, and make sure the right type of system (PAL=European, US=NTSC)

  4. Make sure all your settings,and conncetions are correct. OR ask SONY.

  5. Unplug your controller then plug it back in,if that doesn't work then try another controller. IF that doesn't fix the problem the your port connection is faulty, CALL Sony and have them fix it.

  6. Your system could be overheating, Either replace you
    7. r power supply or your fan. Again Call Sony.
  7. Uh-Oh, you are SOL, might as well sell it. This means you fried some chips in the board. NEVER MOD YOUR PS2.

  8. Make sure your disk is clean, or you are trying to play a Region Dvd that isn't supported by your ps2. Try your diagnosis function, Boot up you PS2 w/out a cd and press triangle.

  9. Your Cd is scrathed, Never buy, or use bootleg copies of games. PS2 is worn out due to extensive use.

  10. YOur Port is damaged, or it has something lodged in there and you need to clean it out.

  11. It isn't compatable, it is damaged, or the port is damaged.
